I did my military service as a platoon commander in the Swedish army at a regemente called T2 in Skövde. I started my training a stormy winter day in February 1997 and finished in May 1998. During my 15 months I learned a lot that I haven't realised until recently. I mean, not just about weapons, tanks, ammo but also patience and to addapt to the situation if it is necessary. They say that after your military service you will turn into a man... maybe after but certainly not during the tiime you spend there...
