Dina Meyer grew up in Dix Hills, Long Island in New York. She attended C.W. Post College from January 1986 through at least May, 1987 and began studying acting after attending Long Island University. Not many people know who Dina Meyer is. But if you ever have seen her in a movie or a series it's not easy to forget her. She has a very special glow and I for one was swept of my feet, when I saw her in the motion picture "Dragonheart". She herself says, that "Dragonheart" was a big challenge for her, and a physically very hard part to play - she was both axefighting and jumping onto a running horse - she actually couldn't think of a stunt she didn't do herself. She's glad she's not famous. The reason for this is that she wouldn't like to have to deal with the tabloid nonsense. She's quite happy not being very famous. That makes it fun when people recognize her in the street, and when she receives a fanletter. But she's glad it hasen't gotten to the point where she can't go and have dinner somewhere, without getting attacked by fans. The only time she herself have been a fanaticly fan of a celebrety was when she was fourteen and a huge Duran Duran fan. And much like the fans of Elvis and Beatles she would start to scream, when she saw them, especially the guitarist - John Taylor. She was totally in love with him and actually dreamed of someday marrying him.
