1. Akward doorlocks.

These facts are for the 850 GLT -92 the first model. The best buy is a 850 from -94 and newer. Most things that are listed have been replaced by Volvo on their "goodwill" but always check the driversmanual for info.

On my previous car a  855 -94 I only noticed that lightbulbs easy  broak and the idling- regulator can be a problem but Volvo changes this for free. Regarding the lamps, this is the most common remark from owners.

The safety is very high in the car and Which? in America gave the car -94 the highest mark yet.
