Trade is by far the biggest source of income to Acumin. Huge storage facilities are able to house products as they make their way across Alleria. Traders meet and acquaint each other with possible partners, the low profile of Acumin gives them the privacy wanted. The trading square opens weekly for all that want to buy and sell large amounts of goods.

This doesn’t mean that Acumin has not got its own market. Salted meat, wool and exquisite lumber are exported to the farthest reaches of Alleria. The cultivations in the area produce enough food for Acumin to be self-sufficient.

Major exports:                  Lumber (mostly spruce) and wool

Minor exports:                 Meat, corn and livestock

Major imports:                 Ore, metal staves and luxury goods

Minor imports:                labour, stone

The town square, situated in the centre of Acumin, is used for the products sold in smaller amounts. Most luxury goods can be acquired here.

[Urma hid her face behind the folds of her hood. She knew the guards had nothing on her, but you never could be too careful. She had been interrogated before, it never was a nice experience.

The weather has been warm and sunny, this lead to huge dust clouds being kicked up by the throng of people that walked the streets of the small town. Looking up Urma squinted though the dust. Good, she had been able to pass through the gate without problem. Perhaps the Circus guards had warned the City Guard, perhaps they had not. What was certain was she needed to sell these clothes or face bankruptcy. Passing the trading square Urma saw the small tents set up on the far side. She would have to visit those later and barter the price of her next shipment…if she was ever able to sell this one. The town square was her target. The middle and upper class favoured this secluded place over the tumult over at the trading square. Less commotion and higher fares, that was what she needed.

Looking back she told the cart driver to stop.  Once halted she ordered him to unload her wares and even helped him to some extent. Paying him and seeing to that he left without causing any commotion she began to set up the stall. Praising herself on finding such a brilliant spot. It was near the only path that connected the square to Lilypond park. Her guess was that the people with time on their hand would have enough money to spend on seemingly expensive clothes. She just hoped that they would not try them on until she  was long gone…]                - Urma, embezzler by trade – Price chart
