Heading for a more commercial sound, JK and the gang looses
much of the earlier "coze-funk". Never the less
tracks like "Virtual Insanity" lead to several
awards and their fame-wave continued with "Cosmic Girl"
which turned out to be one of Jamiroquai's most popular
tunes. The question whether JK was on his way towards brit-pop
or not faded during the recordings of their fourth album
when basist Stuart Zender knocked up a Saint Girl and decide
to leave the band. |
