Batoul-Fatima, also known as Batta, is seventeen years old attending at the Thorildsplan Gymnasium in Stockholm. Her leisure interests spanning from reading literature, visiting cinema, social life activities and writing short stories in Swedish language although she speaks Arabic tuned with Aleppo dialect. Her latest short story written in winter 2000 was "The Gift". This short story, after translation into Arabic by Yusuf Tabbakh, was read at the Literary Acting Club in Aleppo. It received a fair critic by prominent critics and authors.

She is a member of the Syrian-Swedish Club in Stockholm and even a member of The Swedish - Arabic Culture Club in Sweden. Batta is also the vice principal of The Spånga-Tensta Juveniles´Council. 

Batoul writes essays and short papers about interesting part of her parent’s background. Her latest papers in Swedish dealt with the subject "Women concussion" and the "Conflict Analysis of the October War".
