What would an immigrant do if he or she suddenly discovers that seeking another country is not  really a shelter and security. Isn't it a self punishment to leave home country. Wouldn't it be less anguish if stay at home struggling against the cause of the flee ?

Isn't it less bothering to be acquainted with the reason which makes one think different than the majority?

Is it true that one first of all struggles, in the secure country, to maintain his own psychological security not to be assimilated in the new society?

Is it a new struggle to keep the nose over "water surface" than the one in home country to keep breath going on?

The novel "Parallels at Road Cross" tries not  to answer these questions, but to tell a story of a mans daily struggle to find answers to these questions?
