Check out the new Sum41- What we're all about :::It's from the Spiderman motion picture soundtrack. It's not as good as i'm used to with sum41, it's bad. The video is also kind of boring =(
Rage against the machine
A very good rock-band with rap-influenced vocals. ´They are a bit of a communistband but that's just good. The best of their albums is "The battle of Los angeles". Strongly recommended.
Limp Bizkit
A great rock band in rap-metal-style. I really like the singer Fred Durst, who writes really cool lyrics and when you combine them with the music the result is amazing! The best album is " The Chocolate starfish and the hotdog-flavoured water". Look out for Limp Bizkit- Re-arranged (timbaland remix). It's got really good beats and some rapping from our friend Bubba Sparxxx!
Jimi Hendrix
The legend with the ultimate respect. Playing and singing in a kind of funk-rock style with great songs like "Purple Haze" and "All along the watchtower". The best album is "Electric ladyland". You must listen to Jimi Hendrix, you've got no choice.
AC/DC
The voice of the singer in combination with the pure rockguitarriffs is wonderful. AC/DC is rockhistory. I've seen them when they played at Ullevi (Gothenburg, Sweden), and it was then i discovered them (for real). Sometimes, their songs are builkt up in an easy way, but that only makes them better. Their guitarist Angus Young is the leadfigure in the band and he's famous for performing in a schooluniform. AC/DC, I salute you =)
Lou Reed
I've only heard the album "Transformer" from him but that's enough for make an opinion. The songs on the album are often in a kind of 70's rock-style but there's also many songs with different instruments and styles. Lou Reeds voice is good and i love the ironic tone that he use in certain songs. David Bowie helped with producing this great album. Check out "wildside" or "vicious".

The Beatles- Of course.
Red hot chili peppers- They are the best funk-metal band (and only?) you can get. They've got many classics like "under the bridge", "give it away" and "californication" (+ many more!)
Lost Prophets- The song "Shinobi versus ninja dragon". The title of the song is based on action games to Sega megadrive. Rap-metal-rock.
No Doubt- A cool rockgroup with a pretty singer named Gwen Stefani. Good music. Check out "Sunday morning" and "Spider-web".
Sum41- Teenage rock, very happy and good. "Fat lip" and "in too deep" are too famous songs by them.
