The Salsa Web Server is the application that all clients (Web-Browser) will connect to. The Salsa Web Server will create HTML pages from the information found in the database and view status tracking information, softproofs, resource status. Also if you do have the correct rights when logging in to the system can you create, edit and remove products from the client. You can also create reports from the database provided you have the correct rights and that Salsa has been configured to create reports. Also with the modular architecture in Salsa you could write Plugins that will create new functions to the clients.
