Security related information

Mailing lists are very useful either if you want answers on a particular question or if you just whish to know what is going on. Here are a few that I have found useful.

NTBugtraq hosted by Russ Cooper at RC Consulting
NT Security hosted by ISS
Best-of-Security, send a mail to best-of-security-request@suburbia.net and put "subscribe best-of-security" in the message text.
The CERT mailing lists is of course also useful
The mailing lists at CIAC is pretty much like CERT

PGP add-on for Outlook and Exchange clients

If you are using Microsoft Outlook or Exchange as your mail-client Glück & Kanja have made a terrific add-on that makes it possible to make PGP-signatures and encryptions. There is a CryptoEx lite edition which is free for personal use that you can download from their web-page (cannot encrypt large attachments though) and a professional version which you have to buy.
